Q- Do we offer delivery?

A- Yes! We ship our curtains Australia wide however at the moment our Acoustic Panels And Bass Traps can only be delivered locally to South East Queensland and surrounding regions. If the customer requires delivery outside of this area they can feel free organise delivery though a courier.

Q- How much absorption do I need?

A- You can find out how much absorption you require by clicking here

Q- Do your products sound proof?

A- No, these products do not sound proof and no products you can buy can truly sound proof a room. To do so you'd require ripping out your walls, ceiling and sometimes floor and then rebuilding them using proper soundproofing techniques. In saying that, our products do reduce the total noise level by controlling low, mid and high frequencies, reverb and echo within your room/space which then leads to less sound escaping.

Q- What is the difference between Acoustic Treatment vs Sound Proofing?

A- Simply put, having a room Acoustically Treated reduces the echo/ reverb and eliminates unwanted frequencies  within the room making any kind of sound  or music heard in there more desirable. Soundproofing is eliminating all sound from escaping so it cannot be heard from outside the room.

Q- What is the purpose Acoustic Treatment?

A- The purpose is to control low, medium and high frequencies, reverb and echo within a room/space making it a more desirable sounding room without any of the annoying frequencies or echo/reverb getting around making it difficult to hear whats going on. Recording, listening or just have a loud space that needs to be treated? These Panels are for you!

Q- Where to position Acoustic Panels?

A- This depends on the usage of the room. Send us a message so we can help you to figure this out.

Q- Where to position Bass Traps?

A- Low frequencies  tend to build up in the corners of a room therefore the ideal place for our Bass Trap Panels is diagonally across the corners of the room. This leaves an air gap between the corner where the walls meet and the back of the Bass Trap; this allows the low frequencies to be absorbed into the front and back of the Bass Trap.

Q- Acoustic Panels vs Acoustic Foam

A- Acoustic Panels have the capability of absorbing the whole frequency range very efficiently whereas Acoustic Foam is only capable of absorbing some Mid - High frequencies; but still not absorbing anywhere near as much of those frequencies as an Acoustic Panel would. Acoustic Foam can work well for recording rooms that are not producing lots of low end frequencies such as podcasting room; even then the room would have to be heavily covered to get sufficient absorption of echo/reverb within the room. Acoustic Foam alone is not a great option for recording live instruments or mixing/ listening to sound as the foam will only absorb a limited range of frequencies making your recording and listening experience very inaccurate and unbalanced. A combination of Acoustic Panels, Bass traps and Acoustic Foam will work great! However opting for Acoustic Panels and Bass Traps over Acoustic Foam is always the better option.

Q- Do we offer custom sizing on Acoustic Panels and Bass Traps?

A- Yes! We do offer custom sizes within a certain range. Send us a message or email to see what we can do.

Q- Do we offer custom Acoustic Curtain sizes

A- No, unfortunately we only have our 3 stock sizes.

Q- How wide to the curtains need to be?

A- You will require 50-100% more curtain width than the opening your trying to cover. Doing this allows the curtain to flow properly making it loom and work better rather than being pulled flat reducing its sound absorbing and diffusing capabilities.

eg. 1.2m wide window would require 1.8-2.4m width of curtain.

Q- How do the Wall Mounted Acoustic Panels attach?

A- Acoustic Wall Panels simply hang from a screw in the wall. The rear of the panels have a Saw Tooth Hanger attached to the top of the frame which rests on the screw. Exactly like you'd hang most wall art/ photos.

Q- How do the Ceiling Mounted Acoustic Panels attach?

A- Ceiling Panels attach using brackets which protrude the the sides of the panel frame which can then be used to screw into the ceiling using regular timber screws or plasterboard screws of required.

Q- How do the Freestanding Acoustic Panels. GOBO's and Bass Traps stand up?

A- Freestanding acoustic panels have brackets attached to the front of the panel down the bottom allowing them to rest against the wall without falling forward. GOBO's (GoBetweens) have timber feet that allowing them to free stand anywhere; can also be options with wheels. Standard Bass Trap Panels come with similar brackets to the regular Freestanding Panels which prevent the Trap from falling forwards.

Q- Can we use custom fabrics?

A- Depending on the fabrics width and breathability we can definitely give it a go! Send us a message or email to get in touch.
